Its ability to alleviate pain provides relief to sore joints and muscles, making it a popular option as an oil used during an aromatherapy massage. It is also becoming popular as a homeopathic remedy for stress and sleeping disorders.

• For topical pain relief, dilute 2 drops of lemongrass oil with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil such as almond oil or jojoba oil and apply it on the affected area.
• Use lemongrass oil in your diffuser when want to feel clean, refreshed, relaxed and renewed. Lemongrass oil can boost confidence, mental health and help to keep depression at bay.

• To help keep your face feeling fresh and debris-free, try a facial mask made with clay, almond oil and lemongrass essential oil. Mix 3 tablespoons of bentonite clay, a teaspoon of almond oil and 3 drops of lemongrass essential oil and water to make a paste. Apply to your face in a circular motion and allow to dry for fifteen minutes. Rinse with warm water, pat dry and follow up with a light layer of coconut oil for moisturizing.
